I use the M-A-T-H centres to keep my students engaged while I am working with a specific grade or group. The lessons align well with the Ontario curriculum for grades 1-3 and allow me to focus on and assess specific skills with my students. The activities for the centres are an opportunity for my students to practice what they are learning without the pressure of “homework” or assessment. The centres are engaging and provide opportunities for differentiation.
I can even have higher-level students work with lower-lever students on the same activity while practicing different skills. I love Guided Math and I am never going back! Thank you!!!
