New teacher planners are launching for the 2020 school year, and I’m reviewing my favorite, the Erin Condren Teacher Planner. Walk through the new Erin Condren 2020 Teacher Planner with me as I go through it page-by-page with images, or check out the video and grab a deal on your new planner if you’re a new Erin Condren customer at the bottom of this post!

This year there are three teacher planner options: the coil-bound version that you’ll see below, a new teacher planner binder, and a softbound focused planner that has a much simpler style. There are also interior options: Kaleidoscope or Oh, So Retro in both colorful or neutral palettes.
I’ve used an Erin Condren teacher planner for the past three years, and they never disappoint. The overall quality of the entire product is excellent. The cover is a great, heavy-duty laminated piece with vibrant colors that can be swapped out and reused year after year if you don’t fall in love with the new styles!

The inside of both the front and back cover can be used with dry- or wet-erase markers.
The coil is solid, standing up easily to the day-to-day wear that I put it through, carting it back and forth to school with me.
The first section of the planner contains organizational pages.
There is a two-page communication log that you can use to track conversations with families or customize by printing your own headers to cover these columns.
The next pages are perfect for sketching out long-range plans or anything else you want to be able to see for the year at a glance.
Grid pages and notepaper pages follow. These can be used for seating plans, meeting notes, lesson planning…. whatever!
The next section of the planner is the main bulk of the book, the lesson planning pages.
Each section and each month is marked with a sturdy tab.
At the beginning of every month section, there is notepaper and a place to document any important dates to remember. I often use these sections for monthly staff meeting notes.
The month-at-a-glance calendar is also a great place to pace out your short-range lessons, school events, meetings, assemblies, etc.
And next are the dated lesson-planning pages.
The lesson-planning pages are followed by the checklist pages. A standard teacher planner includes seven pages, but you can customize it with more at checkout!
After the checklist pages, you’ll find four sheets of fun stickers. This year, they all have foil accents and are lots of fun, as always!
The bright colors and paper quality of these stickers are perfect.
An extra bonus included with the planner is this set of date stickers. They are pre-printed with significant holidays and are easy to add to the monthly calendar layout. Of course, the heavy-duty double-sided pocket page is also back!
After the pocket page is a vinyl page protector. This is one of my favorite features of the planner, and I always opt to add the extras, getting three in total instead of the standard one. They are the perfect place to tuck paperwork such as long-range plans, curriculum documents, or anything else you refer to often.
So that’s the 2020 Erin Condren teacher planner, cover to cover! Check it out here in my video walkthrough:
If you’re interested in any of the accessories I’ve shown in the photos above, you can check them out in more detail below. I love the new sticker album, with space for up to 48 sticker sheets inside!
The dual-tip markers are the perfect companion to the planner. They have writing points in medium and fine tip sizes in a variety of colors.
